which is faster for raid 0 aslo will scsi work on a p5ld2

I think you need a scsi controler card if you want to use SCSI.

you'd need a SCSI card to make it work. and SCSI costs a fortune. just go SATA RAID. tons of performance for a good price.

SCSI is almost pointless to buy now a days with 10,000rpm sata drives and the seagate perpendicular drives. SCSI used to be top notch and top price. Go sata, I recommend a few seagate barracuda perpendicular drives.

yes, but it's made for servers. if you want to build a fast gaming rig, just get a pair of Raptors and RAID them. i don't even know if SCSI would offer better performance for a gaming rig. i think the PCI bus would limit it, and possibly even make it slower than a pair of Raptors.

can u guys send me some links cause i got a sweet deal for 3 18gb chetas at 15k for 50 buks but i dont want 2 put it in if its slower and can u do raid 0 with 3 drives
