Can memory limit OC even if it's divided?

Thread Starter
I'm considering replacing my sig RAM with a set of OCZ platinum (or G.skill, etc.). But I won't do it unless it will allow me to increase my CPU overclock. My VS is divided enough right now to allow the 2.8 on the CPU. And looks like it has enough room for the CPU to go higher... but it won't, unstable.

Bottom line question: will (or is it likely) the OCZ get me a higher OC?

How much voltage are you running your RAM at? If it's at stock bumping it a notch might help.
