Did you not see the links? I posted the top 4 as well. The second place is above. Q6850 on LN2 at 5082 MHz
He broke 25K You should grab a couple mousepots for the CPU and your Ultras!
The "2nd" place Ultras are in Dry Ice? vs 2900 in LN2?

Anyway, it is STILL a great accomplishment for Kinc. I STILL think he could've gotten a higher mark with Ultras.

I'm sure k|ngp|n will bust something out. I didn't even read much in detail...didn't know they were on dry ice.

WOW! so with a 4ghz quad my score could potentially increase 3,000 POINTS! much better than I would have thought! I score nearly 16k(15,774 actual) with a VERY moderate gpu overclock of 620/1000 and a cpu score of around 3200-3300 points using an e6420.

SO please elaborate how a quad would not push me into the 18k territory? PLEASE!

BTW that score is for a SINGLE GTS!

This 4ghz quad and GTS sli gets 18.5k. So not only would he break 18k with a 5ghz quad core, he might break 20k.

The cpu score for a 4ghz is 5.6k. 7900-5600 = 2300

18500+2300= 20800.

So yea. You're wrong. Big time. GTS's can easily break 18k with an ocd cpu.

I'll be wanting a photo of that shock.

A photo will be here indeed! Tankguys are supposed to be shipping those G0 q6600's first-second week in August. SO we shall see!

Watch k|ngp|n get an QX6850 ES and two Ultra Engineering Samples, and kill that score with LN².

No that is an SLI setup. That is what I searched for. Tell you what, get that quad core and show me an 18K score. Then I'll believe it. If you could explain how ONE GTS can top most Ultra scores...then I'm all ears. It's not from a quad core either....
And I'm done.

Now THAT I can believe, and predict it will happen. However, with GTS 320Mbs......LOL at that.

BWHAHAHAHA OKAY! open WIDE!

I have underlined the score you posted in this thread in RED! which as you can see is under the SINGLE CARD listings.

However, for $hits and giggles I underlined the SLI(Multiple) Cards listings in BLUE

BUT yeah you are the one living in a dream world if you think that quads do not inflate 3dmark06 scores.
