There are still too many bugs in Vista and sales are too low compared to where XP was to even remotely make me think Vista is good. Now its hot cousin (Server 2008) is a thousand times better, and its only in beta 3!

I think Acer needs to read my Vista Haters thread.

*sigh* I am almost getting ready to throw my computer out the window so I don't have to hear another Vista/XP arguement. Seriously, get bent.

Or you can stop reading them threads

I totally agree with you though.

XP / Vista is stupid.

Vista will be the leading OS in time...

Compatibility is at all time high
Almost all programs work with it
It's sometimes faster than XP with the same specs..

Then there would be nothing left to read on OCN

Acer sucks. When you charge $300 for another 512MB of DDR2 for your laptop... no one is going to fork over enough to have a vista ready lappy or desktop, that's why Dell's are better, lol

The only thing driving Vista sales is the inclusion of it in new box-builds from the leading pre-made box-makers. Smells like $$$ and FUD. Lets see how fast XPsp3 gets to the OEM mkt, and gauge its uptake. Most of the DIYers are still using XP given the free choice of XP/Vista.JMHO
