Best brand for raid0 on my config?

Thread Starter
My current configuration for new pc is in the picture I uploaded with this thread.
I think it's my definite config but I have no idea what brand HDD to choose. I want to use them in RAID0 (so at least 2 of the same HDDs). I was recommended Samsung by someone because they have a better rep at the moment than seagate (??) and the samsung 400 gb T133 is about $30 cheaper than the seagate 7200.10 400 gb. I can't find any recent reviews or comparisons on the net and I hope you guys can help me make the best choice for my system

Here is a link to customer reviews of each drive.
Seagate Barracuda 400GB

SAMSUNG SpinPoint T Series 400GB

Benchmarks: These benchmarks indicate that the barracuda is better than the spinpoint in every category that I looked at.

The Barracuda has a higher data density on the platter than the SpinPoint, this gives you slightly better seek times as well as read/write speeds. I would go with the Barracudas!

Thanks for your reply. It does seem to have best performance but there's a massive amount of replies saying the seagate generates so much noise that it's sometimes unbearable.. It doesn't have to be either of these HDDs, I just want a good performance + a little quiet drive in RAID0, does anyone have other suggestions?

I actually bought a 250Gb Barracuda. It has worked perfectly and I noticed no increase in noise coming from my case (though my cpu fan is not silent by any stretch of the word)
Every one that I have talked to recommends the Barracudas, they have great price/value ratio.

Ok thanks for the advice
I decided I'll go with 2x seagate barracuda 7200.10 500gb (!!)

The 500gb one was actually cheaper than the 400gb :s

Get the brand new 7200.11 500GB instead when they come out. They are around 30% faster!
