Big deal, don't really mind if you repoted it, maybe a mod will take a look at the thread and realise the nonsense that's actually going on here.

I wont be checking this thread again, complete and utter waste of my time.

Peoples language on this forum is starting to annoy A LOT more people than just him man, it wasn't about "what was on his mind". if he had just stated what was on his mind then no one would have had a problem with it. the mods have really started to crack down on peoples language here because many of the senior members of the group are bothered, this is supposed to be a family friendly site and he's not helping anything. your post wasn't exactly mature either and defiantly against the rules, asking him if he's going to cry every time somebody posts whats on their mind is defiantly against this one.

I don't know what you're talking about. nVidia's cards have great TPD's. And if a card can handle 100c, why not let it? The 8 series may have brought more heat to nvidia's cards, but it also lets them handle more heat.

As far as richie's post goes, he was out of line with his language and it was no doubt against the rules. That being said, this whole thread is out of line, and I agree with his sucker punch of a post.

Not that they really care about that, more to do with the cheaper manufacturing costs for them.
that's true, but if you look at the Core 2 duos, in term of energy, they are better than the Pentiums but still extremely close, and when you bring up the frequency, it surpases the pentiums. I do think they will be more efficient, but there will be more power and higher frequencies, which in turn will balance out the efficiency. hopefully its not aleaky card like the 2900XT, that card seems like it could have been such a good performer if they could keep that power in.

I hate to break it to you, but even if these specs are true this card cannot run Crysis on maximum. It would be able to turn the textures and everything on max, but there are a few certain features that will not be unlockeable in Crysis for around a year.

If these specs are true, which I doubt they are, I will sell my 8800GTXs and get 9800GTXs for the double increase performance. It says that they take LESS power than 8800GTXs so 750W should be plenty. But then again this "erik" guy is probably full of crap.

Really? What are the special features?

Any links to an article discussing this, since I've never heard of that before.

Sorry, I don't know what the special features are.

But what I do know is that the G92 is the 8900GTX and not the 9800GTX. This article is VERY wrong.
