As some of you in this area know, I seem to be obbsessed with Batch files. I'm really not obsessed, that's just the only thing that's ben approved at work. Stupid, I know, but that's all I have...

Anyways, I found a cool little script that can be used in a batch file, and thought I would share it. (REMINDER: I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff, so I'm excited VERY easily.)

Code:
for /f "tokens=1-4 delims=/ " %%i in ("%date%") do (
  set dow=%%i
  set month=%%j
  set day=%%k
  set year=%%l
)
Yes I know it's simple, but it's helping me out. Basically it enables you to take the %DATE% command and separate each word / number into it's own variable. So you can call the ones you need.
