As for overclocking, look earlier in this thread as they (anandtech.com) did a comparison using this board against a few others.

Good results.

Good board.

Great price.
onelivestarfish,

Are you sure about the MB only having a 4 pin connector? The EVGA website shows an 8 pin and states an 8 pin in the manual.

At this price, it's not going to matter to me, but curious. I'm going to send a quick note to EVGA.

Well, onelivestarfish is correct. Got confirmation from EVGA:

Hello Tae, this comes with a 4-pin power connection as well as the 24-pin atx connector, the manual on the website is currently wrong and will be updated soon.

What is wrong with Asrock? I am able to hit 325+ FSB with this puppy.

I know, I already called him out on that. I have that same board.

The ASRock 4Core Dual VSTA costs $63.32 shipped and gets ~325 FSB.

The EVGA 650i Ultra is $66.99 after MIR (shipped) and gets ~480FSB.

We are talking about two completely different boards from two different companies. I said ASRock can be hit or miss. But I would certainly rather have an EVGA 650i ultra than the ASRock.

Just my $.02.

I bought one last night. There is free 3 day shipping also.

One thing everyone should know if you are considering buying this board and this is something that pertains to anything that has a MFG Rebate that requires the UPC to be cut off the box and sent in to the MFG.

Newegg has a policy that they wont take anything back after you have cut the UPC off the box. So, you have to make sure everything functions properly before you cut off the UPC. You will not be able to return the board to newegg after you do that. With this board there are still more than 30 days left to send in the rebate paperwork. So there is plenty of time to test it.

If something happens later though, you wont be able to RMA the board to Newegg like some of us have in the past. You will have to use evga to RMA the board.

I just thought this was something that most people might not think of and I would not have known except I was reading the small print after I clicked submit on the payment last night.

Quite honestly, I may forgo the $20 rebate just to be able to have the 1 year to return the board to Newegg for a replacement. I'll have to spend some time thinking about that.
