Ok, I Have A Dfi Nf4 Lanparty Sli Motherboard, S 939 And I Am Trying To Get My 1.81 Ghz To Atleast A 2.1 Possible? Well I Over Clocked It At 1.96 That Is The Furthest I Got Then My System Crashed And Windows Vista Said There Was An Error Hehe, Well Went Back To Bios And Reset No Probs I Was Able To Load Windows Again. Well At Even 2.0 What Should The Volt Value Be I Think I Got To 1.45 And Then In Quit And Mhz Was 230 I Believe , First Time Clocking Thanks For The Feedback.

It might be your memory that is causing the crashing at startup. Try relaxing the timings and adjusting the speed. Might want to run on a divider too.

If you can, go to User Cp>Add System, that way we know more about your rig.

Good luck

you should fill out your system specs in your user cp too; it'd be helpful in getting you where you want to be. It will depend on the rest of your system but generally speaking that 3000 should have some good OC potential, definitely more than 2.1GHz! Let us know what you are working with and we will help you get your rig on the road to ocing bliss.

Forgot to welcome you so.... Welcome!

Thanks for filling out your system, gives us a much better understading of what you are working with and how we can help you. Have you gotten your hands on a good overclocking guide to read yet? That would be a great read for you to go over few times to get the feel for the balance that has to be present in the system to get the most out of it. Here is one that is very helpful so give it a read or 5 and get back to us with any questions.

The Special Vid is one of the best parts of the LAN PARTY BIOS. It simply is another add on to what you've set your vcore for.

ie: If your vcore is set to 1.4v (which is default for a Venice core), and then set the Special Vid to 104% you will effectively have a vcore of 1.456v (1.4v + 104%). There is a very useful table of the effects of the Special Vid option in that guide I liniked you to. Save the image, it will become a very useful tool for you.

I will give you that it is a daunting task trying to take in that whole guide but just keep reading and when you run into a problem consult us or the guide and you will be back on the roll quickly. That is an amazing board you have there so read read read and make the most of it!
