From looking at your motherboard's manual, it seems that you only have one audio output port on the back of your motherboard. Unless you're able to ghetto mod your wirse so they connect to a single jack you won't be able to hook up your surround sound speakers.

Dont tell him false info. He can hook it up. Anyway I can get a picture of your setup so I can tell you what to do?

A soundcard can make a difference yes. Not only in sound quality compared to onboard sound but also to system resources. Without a dedicated sound processor your main CPU is given the task of processing sound which take up needed resources that other apps such as games could be using.

Sound cards such as the X-FI have an onboard CPU for sound thus taking the stress off your main CPU.

In short yes it makes a difference.

haha yea i cant even tell what those are lol. Take pics of the back of the receiver for the speakers (what they all plug into). Ill tell you what you need if you can get me a good pic of that.

You probably just need a Y-cable to connect between your sound card and surround receiver:

1/8" to RCA
(Shown for demonstration purposes only)

The 1/8" would go into the output on your sound card, and then the RCA plugs to an input on your receiver.
