So where did that extra bracket come from, is it 939? I don't believe so

Compatibility: Socket 478, LGA775, k8 ( 754 / 939 / 940 ) Support AM2 Socket (New Version)

The silver one is for k8(939) 775 and p4. I have it sitting right in front of me and since ther was a tuniq tower it shipped with that bracket.

He is right I mounted it last night and you only use that sucky little clip. I don't think their is even pressure around the whole surface so I am pretty disappointed. I checked my temps in coretemp and they are like 34C and 23C but in speedfan and everest it says my CPU temp is 50C. I'm guessing that the latter two aren't the internal core temp but the outside temp. Is this true? If so isn't 50C (external) bad since I have tuniq tower on their now. I dont really remember my temps with my stock cooler :/

See dood do not argue. I am right, the silver clip is for other sockets and the tuniq tower came with that mount since it has been out.
