Redid my 939 system...somewhat

Sorry no pictures yet since my dad lost my digital camera.

So before I had these parts...

Old
Case:Tt Armor w/25cm side fan
Cpu: Opteron 165
Mobo: Asus A8n32 Sli
Gpu: Nvidia 6600gt
PsuC P&C 750 Silencer
Cooler:Tt Big Typhoon w/130cfm Delta
Sound Card: Onboard
Ram:Crucial Tracers ddr 500 2gb
Hard Drives:Seagate 7200.10 320gb

New
Case: Silverstone TJ09 BW
Cpu: Opteron 165
Mobo: Asus A8n32 Sli
Gpu: Nvidia 6600gt
PsuC P&C 1KW-SR
Cooler:TR Ultra 120 Extreme w/88cfm Yate Loons
Sound Card: X-Fi Fatal1ty
Ram:Crucial Tracers ddr 500 2gb
Hard Drives:2x Raptor 150 and Seagate 7200.10 320gb

The main reason why I upgraded almost everything except the main parts, the cpu, gpu, ram and motherboard, is that I just don't feel the need to upgrade right now. I want to wait and see what AMD has to offer, no harm in waiting right?

I wish I had a camera so I can show my new goodies. I recently took on sleeving my cables and it really is not difficult at all. It took me a little while to get the courage to do it because I thought it was a lot harder than it really was.

Some of you might wonder why I changed from the Silencer to the 1kw. Both psu would power my system easily. I wasn't going to get the 1kw, I was leaning on getting something modular but I got a great deal on it and I just couldn't pass it up.

I want to do a couple of more things before I wait and see before the big overhaul. I've been looking at monitors but honestly I'm just waiting for my trusty crt to die before I go buy something new.

Hopefully I will have pictures soon!

Honestly I love the p180/182 look too. I was going to get that but after seeing the TJ09, I knew that was the case for me. I almost bought the p180b when it was really cheap on newegg just because.

@an51r: I boxed it up already nice and tight.

Yeah I like my p180 but cable management is a pain in the behind. I am prolly trading the case with another member for a Lian Li just for that reason, I really hate the cables dangling everywhere look.

Some pictures now! my sister gave me a camera, it doesn't take great pictures but can't complain about anything free!

My case is my favorite thing about my rig. I just love it as much as one could love a case...

Just wondering.... does your GPU support dual monitors? I picked up a 2nd one, and I doubt that I'll ever use a single monitor , again.......just something to consider.

I would consider it if I didn't have a crt. I have limited space on my desk already with just one. I can't imagine two crts. haha.

I'm hoping I can get a deal to upgrade my vid card to a crossfire setup. But then I would have to change motherboards, etc.....it never stops!
