asus p5b 6600 OC

I just put together a system with a Asus P5B deluxe and a intel e6600 I can overclock the system to 365 mhz .pci freq 100; pci 33.33 mhz ;memory voltage 2.3; cpu core 1.4250 ;fsb term1.400 ; nb volts 1.55 ; sbcore 1.6 ich auto north bridge chipset config mem ramp disabled ;config dram disabled mem timings in order 5-5-5-15-6-42-10-10-10-11 ; static read control auto ; south bridge x2 ;memory OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 800mhz p/n oczp800r21g running boinc 100% 2 instances temp 128 degrees coolermaster geminII twin artic 12 120mm fans cooling the ram also `I was wanting to run 3.5-3.7 max any ideas? I start getting restarts at 370+ mhz

Second please make your post abit more organized

I think that your mobo might have reached its max FSB speed.

P5b deluxe can do 500mhz fsb no joke! i have one

but of course mine is the wifi edition

try your multiplier at 8x

then your fsb to 400

I got to 3.5 with 389x9 @ 1.45v. It wasn't 100% stable because Orthos would get errors after a few hours...

For ianpoor for cooling help try a fox-2 blower by evercool put it in a slot and it will pull out 60 cfm of hot air the system I am on right now is a msi 865pe 478 3 ghz hyper thread 3.345mhz I use a cooler master 48? on the cpu
swtethan can you share any of you settings ? my p5b is also a wifi but not used hardwired do you think its the cpu crapping out ? bcuz the lowering of the multi would slow down the cpu (good way to see who goes first !!)

your northbridge voltage is really high, I only need 1.45 on mine to rach over 400fsb

hmmm... thats exactly where im stuck at. actually, im at 390x9, 8 hrs ortos stable. same voltage. damn, id like to go higher.....

I had to use 1.5 cpu volts to get a stable 3.4 ;cpu multi 8 ;ram 1:1 fsb 1700mhz ram is ocz plat.rev 2 running5-5-5-15 30 changed my left cpu 120 mm fan to higher output and cpu temps fell 8 deg f to 130f ;fsb 425, I think the ram is toped out pc6400 800mhz ocz said any faster ad I need pc8000 1000mhz ram any suggestions on good ram (for the price) 1gig sticks? gone untill aug 1 see ya btw I can run boinc rosetta 2 instances and super pi is 16 min 49 sec at the same time!!
