OS X MacBook Pro?

Thread Starter
Noob Question:

I just recently bought a MacBook Pro and as usual it comes with OS X but it says MacBook Pro on it. But I was wondering if I can run this copy on my desktop even though its not a Mac. Im pretty sure you can but i was just wondering about the "MacBook Pro" thing

If anyone has a answer that would be great.

Thanks
-Casualty

You would have to modify OSX's source code, which Apple has made illegal. You can only legally run OSX on Apple hardware.

Its not legal to run OS X on none apple hardware. Also it wouldn't work off the bat, would require lots of modifing to OS X.

I don't think osx86 is a legal project either, plus I heard it runs like rubbish.
