and how did you manage to spray into all the gaps of the casing, like under the bottom HDD bracket?
Well to put it simply, I didnt mask the feet. The bottom has no paint on it at all, and no one can tell but me . Im sure you can just peel those rubber feet off and find a
super adhesive and stick them back on but I didnt want to go trhough with all that. When you say "sponge cushions" I am assuming you are referrign to the anti
vibration type, correct? As in this part I circled:

I painted right over those rubber strips on the PSU cage as well. Too much work getttign them off, I was sure I would rip it if I tried to pull it off. As for gettign the bottom of the HDD moutns, I sprayed what I could but not much. If I sparyed to much the paint would get runny or look as if dripping. I guess you could say it would sort of clump up. So I sprayed just enough to where there is some color down there, but it is nto completely black. You cant see under there anyway so I didnt get all of it. Geeze I sound so lazy , not going through with it all.

ya dont take the any vibration strips off, i did and they streached, got thinner, they broke, the glue is too tough.
and it just left a furry mess, and u had to use hard labour to scrub the remaining glue and metrial off

well....Small update on my build

Got my PSU and CPU cooler with a few extra odds and ends...

was putting in the PSU last night and found that its HUGE....and was a issue getting it into the case with the power cables, so, had to mod the case

removed the rivits from the fan mount plate in the lower chamber... shouldnt be a BIG issue, can always put that fan at the front of the lower chamber now

will have some pics up soon

(sorry If Im hijacking your thread a little Spacegoast)

Nice, but I guess it would be a pain with that fan slot right their in front of it. I dont think that is a good spot for fan anyhow. It doesnt draw in any cool air, in fact it may draw in warm air if your hard drives are in the lower HDD chamber.
