60 Million is very impressive. Not accurate though. The majority of these will be pre-bought licences by OEMs. Give it another 6 months and I'd say this is accurate.

The forty million copies statistic in the first 100 days included (I think) all the pre-purchased upgrades. The last 20 million copies sold in about 45 days or so don't include those any longer.
