I didnt even realize it had wireless, nice. Plus I am sure you can easily upgrade to 512 eventually.

Can the video be upgraded? It has one 200-pin DDR slot so putting in 512mb is like $25 and a gig is like $70 if you use newegg.

With a the upgrade to 512mb making this $175, this is a damn good lappy.

It'll only support 1 gig though.

It has onboard VIA graphics, so probably not. But it supports up to 1GB DDR400 mem.

The RAM and HDD can be upgraded so thats not bad. This lappy is meant for typical users so the need to upgrade the G-card isnt really needed.

I think this laptop will run nicely with a cheap upgrade to 512mb of RAM.

For $175 I'll have a school/work/take with me laptop that will be good for mild gaming. I'm willing to bet Quake 3 will run nicely, and all my old c&c's will run just wonderfully. And don't forget some nice flash games. (Mario Forever FTW)

I bet it could even run UT04.

Hehehe. Definitely grabbing one.

This is also great for 3rd world countries also. I think this Lappy will be great with Linux. Just bump up the RAM a little and Windows is a possiblity also.
