I personally am more interested in it as a modding platform. The engine is extremely capable, and the editor looks extremely easy to use and code with. There are already a njnumver of teams that have been given copies of the editor to begin working on their mods before the game is even released, and I am sure there will be many others.
I'm now interested in what you're interested in. Personally, i think the whole genre is bland. I do like the fact, however, that one multi-player standard is almost "chosen" each generation and it stuck to through the generation. You don't find the same thing with other genres.
Awesome graphics. Yes, they do count for me, but that doesn't make it a good game. That just makes it a newer game. Better AI, again, important, but all part of being in the newer generation. I'm just saying, people around this forum seem to be saying "YAY CRYSIS" why i think they should be saying "YAY TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS".
But what the hell. I'll buy it, enjoy, and get over it, i'm sure.
