my cpu cooler is probably my best investment ever. chilltec by ultra.. amazing changes w/much cooler cpu .

do u guyz think im crashing at 3.4+ ghz because of voltage? windows loads and can play around in windows w/no problems..but if im playing a game for more than 30mins it freezes up on me.
sell that card.

For the 200$ you would get you could buy more upgrades....

Unless your ping is really that important to you.....(well if your a pro...)

Also keep in mind that when reaching high FSB, you may need to rise FSB voltage to keep stable. It's called MCH on my motherboard, but I don't know about others. Once past 313, if I don't give it 0.1v, I won't stay on desktop for long.

Raising FSB and/or voltage will get your north bridge hotter.

I was reading ur system specs... and i saw your overclock isbased on 6x500..

im at 9x what is the major difference between the style you change your multiplier ? is there any type of difference...

My max multiplier is 8, but 7 is the sweet spot and 6, I can get everything out of my overclocks. Since lowering the multiplier, it'll give me more FSB to work with when overclock to 3GHz over the 7x429.

With 6x500, I can get 2000 rated FSB and 1000Mhz out of my RAM.
With 7x429, the rated FSB and RAM is slower.
