question about dual PSUs setup

Thread Starter
is there any specific way someone should setup their cables when using two power supplies in one pc? let's say a 600w and a 400w psu to power 2 D5 water pumps, 4 hard drives, two 8800 GTXs, Asus crosshair with a brisbane, a DVD burner and flash memory controller and about 4-7 fans.
could you set it up like, the 600w powers the GTXs, the motherboard. and the 400w will power all hard drives and DVD drives, the water pump and fans?

i would say the GTX's on the 600watt, the cpu/mobo on the 400watt, and the other stuff in between the two psu's.
