Yeah, read that on distrowatch...

Well, I'm dling it to test on one of our systems here in the shop, at the least to stop them from bugging us...

Guess we'll see if its worth selling on comps in place of Windows...

Granted, I could probably install everything they include and all for half the price (only non-free software looks to mb CodeWeavers Cross-Over Office)...
But, since they provide support (I believe), that may be worth it.... I dunno, will wait and see... may setup one comp with the stuff they're trying to get us to sell and setup another on with straight Kubuntu and weight the differences etc...

Pretty worthless... they're selling Pioneer Linux as a "complete Windows replacement..." and they would be making us a Partner, which means we support the end-users, and we can get support from them. (Which is pretty stupid, since I doubt we'd call them that often...)

So basically we can get Pioneer Linux for around $100... wow...

Lets see... the only part of their software that isn't available FREE is CodeWeaver's CrossOver, which we can get for under $70...

Kubuntu - FREE
Virtual Box - FREE
OpenOffice - FREE
Cross-Over Linux - PRO - $69.95

I don't see us getting this to install on any customers anytime soon... for the time being, we'll be sticking to Windows...
