case backplate?

im not 100% sure what its called, but its the piece where the inputs/outputs on the mobo line up with the back of the case, well i picked up a case today and i can tell right away that the holes in the plate do not line up or match what the mobo will have, can you order a new one online or is this something ill have to fab up on my own?

the mobo i/o shield? your mobo should have came with one, if not you might be able to contact the maker and ask for one

havent purchased the mobo yet, tigerdirect was out of stock when i was there, i did not know it came with one, thanks for the info!
