Coolermaster GeminII vs Eclipse - Battle of the budget

I'm planning on buying either one of these Heatsinks and lapping them once I get them. It will be paired with an E6600, and am looking for a moderate to nice OC on it. Taking price into consideration as well as cooling performance, which would be the way to go?

Or the GeminII and Yate Loon 120mm fans - $26 AR and after buying 2 fans

Price per performance, I don't think the Eclipse can be beaten at $5 AR, but after reading a lot of reviews, it received a lot of praise, but also some pretty mediocre temp readings. I will be lapping these heat sinks when I get them (they will possibly be temporary, getting either a Tuniq or Ultra-120 at some point in the future).

Of the ones you've linked to, the GeminII wins hands down. Not only is it a better cpu cooler, but the sheer size of the heatsink itself will also help passively cool other components in your system as well.

Ya, that's why I said take into account the the Eclipse is $5 compared to $25-30 of the GeminII. The Eclipse cools the Motherboard as well, not as well as the GeminII, but where ever the air duct faces on the HS, that area gets a nice blast of air keeping the board nice and cool too.

Seems hard to say no to a $5 HSF that got awards in many sites, but then again, it's all review sites and no regular users that state how it is.

Also, are those Yate Loons a good choice for the GeminII?

GeminII FTW!

@ignite: most fans go well with it.
I recommend TT Thunderblades though. 78CFM @ 23DBa.

Ended up going for the Eclipse. $5 really can't be beat price/performance, especially if I'm going to be upgrading coolers in a bit (if this doesn't work well after being lapped).
