Should I remove ram heatsinks' TIMs before applying ceramique?

I've decided to use AS5 on my GPU and AS ceramique on my vga's ram heatsinks. I read the Arctic Silver Ceramique website and it instructs on how to apply it onto CPUs/heatsinks. Should I apply that same method to ram/heatsinks which came with Zalman vf900-cu for 6800 GT OC?

I wouldn't do it. There's a chance that when you remove your heat sink, a piece of the chip may get stuck on the heat sink and pop off.

Don't do it!

Thanks. Right, so you're advising that I should leave the TIM on as is?

Arg, I was busy earlier so I should skimmed through.

RAM: The pre-applied paste should do you fine. All they really need is a fan to keep them call. Though, beware when removing the heat sink on the RAMs. The paste that they use are dried, so there's a chance that a chip on the RAM will come off and destroy the RAM.

GPU: I don't really know about aftermarket heat sinks, but on stock heat sink for like the 8800GTS, it is not recommended to remove the thermal pad and apply AS5, because you'll make a gap.

Ceramique won't hold your ramsinks on anyway. Arctic Silver makes a special adhesive thermal paste for that type of application. AS5 and Ceramique won't hold the heatsinks on.
