Good question. I know it does all it's work on the Graphics card/cpu (depending on the version).

I'd imagine if you install it to the flash drive it should just run. Could be absolutely wrong though.

(Sorry for the double post) Okay, I downloaded DSL 3.4....it's in a .zip file (I think this is the right one for the usb flash drive....?) Anyway, I unzipped all of the files to my usb drive. Anything else i need to do, or will it just boot from the flash drive when set to do so in bios?

If my computer doesn't support booting from the usb drive, i can always just use the live cd...but the less things i get on this computer, the better.

I'll read into this some more tomorrow...i gotta hit the sack now..gotta go to work early, lol.

Okay, i got a small 4 gig hard drive. I downloaded a linux distro named Yoder. I installed it to the HD, so not running a live cd.

I downloaded Folding @ Home for linux. Every time i go to double click the F@H file, the Operating System asks what program to use to open the F@H file. What the heck?? I thought folding at home was a .exe file...shouldn't it be able to open itself? What do i need to open it with?
