Battlefield 2142 problems....please help

Thread Starter
I was able to play the game fine over the past few days and all of the sudden I start to get the "memory not sain" error as well as having the game freezes after about 8-10 minutes of game play (can't recover from crash except for hard reboot).
I have CCC 7.4 driver which is supposed to run this game without any problems so I can't figure out what is wrong. My computer performance is good because I am able to play anyone of my other games maxed out with good FPS and what is frustrating is the fact that BF2142 now runs 45-60FPS all the time with the same setting that I have using for a week. Does anyone have any suggestions because I have tried many different settings in CCC but none seem to work right. I know that my memory is not bad because it runs World In Conflict at 75% of my max memory during the game which I know is over 1 gig.

Thanks

Uninstall 2142... clear the temp files for it... reinstall.

I had a problem with BF2 where it would crash , It was down to the memory volts not being high enough

Not sure if that would be the case here , but if your like me , anything is worth a try !
