8800GTS 320 3DMark06 scores - Page 2

So you keep saying yet the one ORB link offered showed you had used Custom settings... if you really wish to be taken seriously then front up with a real ORB link (your own would be good) and one that has used Default settings..

And if indeed you have done what you claim then how about sharing how you succeeded so that others may learn ...

11,022 I think I can get 12K. I have not hit my limits with my CPU or with my GPU.

11564

I can't get any higher on the GPU, hit the ceiling for memory and core @ 648/2008. CPU I might be able to get higher but I really don't wanna put more volts into it unless I'm gonna be getting a new processor which is unlikely anytime in the near future.

Just hit 11,036 with my E6750 @ 3.4GHz, 8800GTS 320MB Core=635MHz Memory= 940MHz, and 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 @ 850MHz

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2654268

I'm no where near the limit of my GPU or CPU, so I anticipate 12k soon.

**EDIT**

Here's a 11,219 mark run.

...Wow, guys. My sig rig, as it is, only got over 11k once, I lost about 500 3dmarks recently (down to 10500) and I don't know why. Got any tips for a new 3dmark-er?

Have you updated your drivers recently? If so, go into Display Settings and under 'Performance and Quality' on your 8800GTS tab, set Image Quality to "High Performance". You gain 200-400 points with this and lose ZERO quality, I promise you! lol
