well, what FPS do we get anyway. it's always interested to know the limits of a card.
1280x1024, High Shadow Quality, 2048 Shadow Map Size, No AA will still not keep above 15+ FPS. The current DX10 games are by no means a good way to test DX10 performance. The DX10 version of COJ is basically unplayable even with my quad and 2x 8800GTXs. The current DX10 games are patched to DX10 and lost alot of performance because of it.

Going to have to wait for crysis benchmarks to see true DX10 performance.

lol, sorry

i now see why there is still no very good Dx10 comparison graphics out there.

looks like i'll wait a bit for 9800GTX to be officially announced with a release date, if it's close, i'll get a 2600XT

You guys are cute, you know that? So full of hope. I don't know what miracle you're expecting Crysis' DX10 coding to be, but I'm pretty damn sure you're all going to be so very disappointed when it's really .... not very much better.

My prediction with NO inside info or anything like that will be at BEST the equivalent to 5-10 FPS better. You guys keep act like it's going to be turning on a switch to double/triple framerates (Admittedly you're not too bad about this).

woh!?

It's just like DX9. When it's first out it's not that good in frame rate. Give it about a year and see what happens

Well, I see it like this. The first versions of the game were running on a 7900GTX. SOOOO if these cards get 5fps on crysis, something is wrong.

X2900XT can't perform well in COJ? Looks like I need to Crossfire R700 XTX or XT if possible, dammit.
Maybe not, except pushing my Sapphire X2900XT GPU and memory clock faster.

What are the DX10 cards are ready for anyway?
