You have to buy a 8800... Im using a 7900GT... at the beggining of the game i have 60+ fps... but when there are lots of units in the game.. i have to put all min settings.... and get 25fps

Thats you RAM too, supreme commander would bog my computer down when I had 1 gig and a 7600GT. It must have a memory leak or something I swear, or you have to close it at the end of each game to flush the cache.

I played one game, then on the second it was 10 minutes in and moving at 1/2 frames per second, the in game timer moved 1 second for every 2-3 real world seconds. I alt-tabed and ctrl-alt-del to check the usage, and supreme commander was using 800 megs of memory. I ordered 2 gigs the next day, but have yet to play a series of games like that.
