The question that I have been having is "why does loading Window XP take a while?" I have taken some steps to research and understand why it is taking a bit of time to load Windows, but I tried all the steps that was researched, but the loading is just as slow. I am out of ideas; I am just worried because compared to my DELL, this computer takes a longer time in loading Windows. With the DELL, loading Windows only take about 8 bar strokes and with the faster rig, it takes at least 17 bar strokes to load. Everything after that, the other rig is pretty fast in entering to the desktop compared to the DELL by about 1-2 seconds. By the way, the DELL is running way more applications than the other rig, as well. This is why I am worried? Are there any other things I should check or try to see if the loading of Windows XP become a bit faster? I have viewed the Start Up manager, and taken away almost everything not useful and takes a bit of time loading. That did not make a difference though.
