Couple things I would do different if I had that kinda cash to blow:

Raid 0+1 with 4 Raptors,
a 500g or 750g or whatever Barracuda

drop one of the graphics cards
pick up a really nice monitor, 30"+ with HD capability and a TV tuner (or buy tuner for your comp)

Blu-Ray drive, although personally I'd just use a ps3 for blu-ray movies

Water cool. Get a stinger waterblock, everyone seems to worship them.

Just get 2x1g G.Skill HZs
6-700watt PS

I can imagine that'd be around 4k

Edit: Oh and a really unique chassis. But not the Mozart TX plzkthx

Honestly I would not suggest dropping the second GPU in this case, dx10 will need all it can get.

Well im not the guy who is buying this but i agree 100%, even though we havent seen a native DX10 game yet it looks like the visual are going to upped and that means more horsepower from your GPU(s).

I would get the TT.

Don't get a 2 x 2 kit.

Get 2(2x1) Kit.
I have a 9700LED on a Q6600 with stock everything, idles 41C with uncured AS5 and a ~30C ambient. I'm hoping for 4C rise over ambient overall with MX2 and the Zalman at max.

That idle isn't good for stock clocks w/ aftermarket cooling.

You ought to be idling high 30c's if you seated properly. Just because you guys leap to quad doesn't mean your idle temps should double...

well i have a ps3 and those blu ray movies are sick i must say. i have a nice HD monitor picked out with that build but im not sure if its in the list. its a Gateway 24", i forget the model number. I want to get the most out of my games, so i think ill stick with the second gpu.

I've got the same CPU, memory, and PSU for my rig! I'm also wanting those 5.1 speakers, but not getting them yet. Looks like a good rig. I wish I could afford so many extreme extras. (2 video cards, 24" monitor [though I am getting a 22" for quite a bit less, so maybe I shouldn't complain], sound card, 5.1 speakers, etc...)
