So, what can you expect from an E6850 processor?

Obviously this will vary by the method of coolling.
Usually most people immediately ditch the stock intel heatsinks and replace with a more efficient after market cooller.

For these tests I am using the IFX-14 by Thermalright


L2 and G0 Stepping have higher Tjunction max specs, but it is not advisable to run overclocked processors above 75c.
During gaming and applications, Core 0 typically carries heavier loads and higher temps than Core 1.


Here I have included a few screenshots of temp monitoring programs to take a look at the processor running the default 3.0Ghz
