How far should I go

Thread Starter
How far should I overclock. I mean... I have a Socket745 AMD Athlon64 +3400. stock it was at 2.4Ghz now I'm at 2.7Ghz but that is only if I run my cpc cooler, which is a ThermalTake Venus 12 at full speed... which sounds like a vacuum.

It currently runs at 36°C With ambient temps at 28°C and sys temp. at 33°C

What I'm currently worried about is how much is too much? I only have a 430 Watt psu on a single rail and an average cooling system.
I do also wonder where the "sweet spot" would be for me, with a balance of performance, efficiency and temperatures? any ideas?

Thanks ^____^

I think for you, the highest stable on stock vcore+100mhz
so if you are @ 2.6 at stock voltages, go for 2.7, so with some more vcore
