Your comment about IQ, bringing up the E6600 which has nothing to do with this: this all tells me that you really have no idea what we're debating here.
200mhz was a big deal to you. So I explained that almost anyone (sept' some mac users) can upgrade a proc for allot less then buying it with your OEM machines. You really are thick.

If you've "broken down" an iMac, a Macbook Pro/Macbook, and every other type of Mac out there...you need to find yourself a less expensive hobby.

You treat us like we're stupid and as if we're idiots.
What on earth are you talking about? You've totally veered off subject. Where does configuring anything on a Mac or Dell motherboard come into play?

A less expensive hobby? You're resulting to personal attacks because of? Should I feel bad that I take my money seriously enough to actually know what I'm spending it on?

If you feel like an idiot, it's not my fault. I never called you one, I never called you stupid.

You just wont accept you're computer is not the best, there are plenty of PC's way better. And probably for the same price.

And if i'm not mistaken... Mac's are aimed at the not so technology inclined user.

You do realize my sig rig is the one I built with my own hands, right? You DO realize that I'm on Overclock.net because I have a custom built PC, correct? I mean, you have to realize I own a Hackintosh because I already know my custom built PC out-performs a real Mac Pro @ Dual Core and Quad Core Specs? And nearly performs on the same level as an Octo Mac in prime applications like Final Cut Pro, Motion 2, etc.

You do realize I'm buying two Quad Cores for custom built PC's, and that I'm overtly technically inclined to do so?

Proof that you have no idea what you're talking about.

There's no real reason to entertain your ignorance. You pretty-much just attempted to tell me I'm not as technically inclined because I own a Macbook Pro, but had no idea my sig rig was obviously a custom built rig.

Tsk.

Later, man.

It has a P5k in it, of course it's not mac.

I was not insulted you in any way, if you took it that way, I insulted you're intelligence. Back like what I said on page two. I was talking about JUST you.

Arguing on the Internet is like the Special Olympics.

Who ever wins is still retarded.

The problem is all of you are biased to one side or the other.

Yes the Dell was a better spec (although it was 200Mhz slower, but the $900 can easily make up that deficit). Also the price of the Dell is the price of hardware now, not the price of hardware when Audi bought the Mac.

Mac's are built for the computer illiterate but they are also seen as good for multimedia as it was easier to train people to use them, so certain companies made these applications for OSX, simple as.

No one will win this argument because it is down to opinion. The battle you are fighting for isn't really PC vs Mac is it, they are more or less identical.
