Just to expand this argument, why exactly do you think Windows "sucks"?

Two words on what that crappy dell doesnt have.

Allow me to make my point here. I love Apple, why? They're innovative. They invent new things that keep the consumers happy. Dell on the other hand just does what we can all do, make computers. In the past 10 years, Apple had done more to help advance the world of tech' more than any other company on the face of this earth. Who really cares if you have no reason for hating Apple? It just shows that you are closed minded. Same goes for things like rap music, if you have no reason to hate it, OPEN YOUR MIND. This *****-fest really needs to end and go back to whatever idea you have in your head. /end rant

I think that this is because the two are aimed at different crowds. Dell is just your standard family PC company and large business, and Apple is sorta aimed at schools and places that are more SOHO than others. I must admit, it's pretty damn sexy that there are only 4 cables that plug into an iMac (power, mouse, keyboard, ethernet). Plus, they're sleek and compact. What would you rather have on the counter of ultra-chic urban store, a big bulky Dell or an iMac.

By the way, to those who care, the only Mac I've ever owned is a pair of 1987 Mac Plus compacts. However, I used Macs in school. I've always liked the simplicity of the Mac interface. However, I miss my trusty three-finger salute.

I'll post this one more time.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have both agreed on this[D5 Conference], Apple and MS take different views on software and how to bring it to the customer. Some people like Apple's approach while others like MS's approach. So it's useless to try and compair the two or say ones better than the other.

One thing that I agree with reberto is that Apple is innovative. Even Gates has agreed that Apple has played a major part in the area of computers and innovating new technology[D5 Conf.].
The iPhone is considered big b/c of its touch screen. Does it have bugs and issues, heck yes it does, it's new. If you haven't learned it yet, in the computing field you should always expect some type of issue to rise out of some new device like the iPhone. Don't hate it b/c its so innovative or b/c some other phones can use the net or what ever to. You should be excited that Apple has make this idea into something working.

Also the xbox360 had a powerPC chip, and a lot of the software they used to develop the Xbox360 was on Macs[D5 Conf.].

If all you're going on is price then I guess you could be right. Money isn't everybody's top concern though

I got my Lian-Li because I was going for a high quality product - not because it is cost effective. I think that most people in the enthusiast market should understand

Accorind to you, yes the commercials are misleading. According to 99.99% of Mac crowd, these commercials represent a message sent by God.

The funny thing is, i liked Macbooks when they came out with IBM processors but they when apple started to equip the MBPs with Intel procs, It isnt so much diffrent than a Dell laptop sans shell and OS. I agree that i might know much about apple nor its product but i have used the OSX and iphone every time i went over to my friends house. While the iphone looks slick, it doesnt have nearly as many features as a HTC pda phone such as the HTC kaiser. Not to mention its cost. I have tried to get the diffrences across my friend's thick skull, but alas he wouldnt listen because like the rest of the Mac crowd he is just an apple drone. Buy any product that apple comes out with because "its cool".

Anyway i like my windows vista and XP because they offer me what i need.
