It's fun to read you guys bashing this true flame case. While its true you can go to many places to have your cases custom painting. I highly doubt they will put as much time and effort into it as a company trying to get thier foot into the door with a boutique builder like smooth creations who sell computers upwards of 10000 dollars. You can compare smooth creations to falcon northwest and thats saying a lot! Anyhoo I purchased this case and am blown away by the depth of the color on this case. You can only truely appreciate the fantastic job done when you can walk around it and see it all kinds of lighting especially sunlight. Its true that you could have one painted for next to nothing but would you have metallic flake in the black, about 100 different tones of blue and actually get a 3d visual effect with about 10 clear coats on it to protect it and give it depth?? If you're worried about spending lots of money than pc building is probably the wrong hobby for you in the first pla ce.

So your saying nobody in the world could paint a case that good?
I seriously doubt that one company is the only artist in the world. There are plenty of people with lots of talent who could do that for a lot less.

It's not worth it. The only reason that I see why the price tag is so high is because it supports a plethora of mobo standards.

I call h4x.

I actually don't think it looks that cool. It's kind of tacky to me really. I like simple monochromatic classic (not like PC beige old school) designs for my cases.

I still like my Antec Plus View that I've had forever.

I like my TT Tsunami. It looks decent and actually cools well which is more important. And it costs about 800 less. Stupid case has a window over the side fans...durrrr.

Really if I wanted a case that fancy Id get a Falcon NW PC and actually get something for my money. My respect for Coolermaster just took a plunge.

well if you all didn't notice, the MSRP is actually $999 not $900.... so 1g for a bit of painted aluminum? well as everyone else said I'd rather spend the money on (insert anything you desire here) than this case. Cool concept, but cut the price about 95% and we'll talk.

I seriously doubt that one company is the only artist in the world. There are plenty of people with lots of talent who could do that for a lot less.

I don't disagree.....but I have done my homework. Your best bet is to find someone who had paints motorcycle tanks. If you can even get them to take you seriously your looking at several hundred just to get them to consider it. Add paint cost etc. You're looking at 500. So think of it like this stacker 830 (app 220), paintjob (680), and lifetime paint warranty (priceless).
Also msrp is 999 but you can find it online for 900 and drop ships from CM.
