Complete waste of money... And I love the guy defending buying a $900 case. Lol.

See, now if it had you know, maybe a 680i, Q6600, some HZ's, and a GTS320, I could see the $900 price tag. Other than that what a ridiculously stupid gimmick.
I whole heartedly dont disagree that it is a very large pricetag. Originally I posted a reply to opening post. I did in fact have the balls and am very very happy with the paint job. If anyone out there in fact looks at this thread in hopes of finding out what you might expect if you did pony up the cash here are the issues that bothered me with the case. There wasnt any interior paint but after doing lots of homework discovered about the only way to have that done is to do the clean up of all the threaded holes yourself. Face who wants to buy a 900 dollar case that you have to clean up yourself. About the only way to accomplish it at factory is to specially design the case for greater tolerances to accomadate the paint. I also didnt much care for the idea of the plexi over the fan wall, but the case is a venerable wind tunnel as is and I only mount one fan in the wall to direct air over my pair of 8800gtx in sli. I also noticed that they didnt sand the aluminum prior to primer and paint, that is the one truth that I hate. Overall I am astounded by the beauty of the case if thats what your into. Not to mention the stacker 830 is a well thought out beast of a case and my watercooling fits with plenty of room to spare. Overall weight with a pc power 1kw and all the other components is probably 75 lbs. If you like it buy it!!!!!

originally was looking for falcon quality but realized that they wanted 8000 to build the pc of my dreams. Decided barring the paint i could build one at least that good for 3000 with hellbent watercooling. Was going to find an automotive paint guy to get the custom paint done. After being laft at for something like 2 months and doing thousands of googs decided to give this a shot and take my lumps if it sucked. did you know falcon wanted 5000 xtra to guarantee an overclock talk about crazy gimmicks.

Can you post some pics of yours? I would like to see this case in a higher resolution.

What else is in your rig? You can fill out your system specs by using the "User CP" tab in the link bar at the top of the page and navigating to the add system tab in the menu on the left.

Nice rig man. And welcome to the forum.

I won't give you any grief about spending a grand on a case. If you have the money and the rest of your system is up to par, why not?

You bought a top notch case... with an expensive paint job. At least a case can be carried over to the next build, and the one after that, and so on. One could think of it as an investment. Outdated or worn out hardware on the other hand...

Second to that, you built your own rig. It is a reflection of you. It is a reflection of your abilities...up to and including your financial abilities.

I'm looking forward to those pics. If there is one thing we can all appreciate, it is a beautiful PC with kickass hardware.

When it comes right down to it, who cares how much it cost to build.
