Put a 2.8 P4 and a 8800GTX in a system and play a game like HL2 or oblivion, now take it out and put a E6600 in there and see how it plays.

I bet you will think diffferently. The CPU is needed to send information to the GPU, and if the CPU isn't fast enough to do so, the GPU cannot work at its full speed.

And noobdown, the TOS also says you must spell correctly and your posts are VERY hard to read. Put a little more effort into typing correctly please. Every other word is a spelling error.
/makes an excellent point

I will leave such things up to people who have knowledge on the ATI DX10 series. However I do suggest that you do smarten up on your Grammar/spelling mate. It does help us to help you.

All I ask is that you do your best. Infact you could always use the spell check on your posts and correct any mistakes before posting !

Hey, it's OK as long as you're actually trying. You may want to use FireFox, as it has a built in spell checker. Just a suggestion. That is why my spelling is so impeccable. (<-- could have never spelled that word on my own)

Oh, and back on topic here.... the 8800GTS 320mb is a fine choice, but if you are going to be gaming in anything higher than say, ~ 1280x1024 or 1440x900, you may want to consider the 640mb version.

Sometimes I feel like anyone suggesting bad grammer/tos violations etc get crapped all over, JUST because they don't have a director title or what not. I try to help as much as I can- PC related or even rules related. And I get crapped on. AWESOME!:turd::turd:

If english is your second language, I apologize for being slightly rude on my previous post.

back to the issue at hand:

you aren't going to need the gtx unless you plan on playing crysis maxed out on ur 19" lcd

just get either gts version and oc your cpu a little.

also, the psu might cause slight bottlenecking, but nothing too bad. you will get a huge performance increase never the less
