Ok need some advice please :) Temp High on new build WC

Ok as most know i been working on my system and it's close to finsh now, i decided i would power the main board up today as its been over 24 hours since water leak test.

Ok first pic as reference.

Right now the system is current got 3 huge lengths of tubes that are about 2.5 ft long, also i am using plain distilled water only, no additives as a bench mark to see temp rating.

Ok now before i got water cooling i would be able to run 3.2 overclock and air cooled would be about 42 idle and 63 load with tat and orthos.

Now with the above setup i am now running it as 3.5 gig OC but its temp is the same as my air with 3.2, now i got vcore set at 1.5 while before it was not changed from default.

Now its goes without saying it working better than air cooling but i am a little shock at the temps still, is this nomral ?

I re done the cpu/water block 7 times with as5 to check, also tried with no as5 but was alot higher.

Will things change much when i shorten the tubes, and add some anti-freeze and mount it with the 2 fans blowing air onto the rad giving me the 2 push 2 pull setup.

Any advice be greatful, as i happy with the new speed i can clock her currently to, but the temps are a little worrying now.
Thanks

Put the fans on pull. Drop the vcore till Orthos won't run for more than
2 minutes and then kick it back up a notch. Shorter tubes won't drop temps
by more than 1-2ºC and the AS5 will take 3-5 days to cure.

And what's your room ambient?

Yeah give AS5 a little bit of time to work its magic. Atleast your not overheating to the point where it would be dangerous.

What radiator is that?
Nice case lights, are those meteor cathodes?

You might want to stick some decent 120x38mm fans on the rad to...I think they work better on rads because of their higher air pressure...Like Dryad said put them in pull and a shroud will help some also, 1.5" is supposed to be optimal, at least thats what I've always heard...

These are decent lower cfm fans...

...Panaflo 86.5CFM

...Sunon 84CFM

These are what I use...

...108cfm Sunon

...115cfm Panaflo

Thanks guys, i need to wate then till monday for my other 2 fans to arrive for the push and pull on Rad, i using 2 yates loons so far with a shroud, i guess the termal paste will help when settled, thou i do not think it will be a huge amount thou, i guess today i shall take a look at the water block, i hear the gasket can block flow as there injection moulded.

As for LED there a custom led strip, i brought 2 online, and made 2 more myself, and sealed them, they do give a huge amount of light off that's for sure.

Running orphos at small ftts i get load temps of around 52 this morning, using tat i get alot higher, about 58c now, prime 95 is at 51c, i will try taking the vcore down a little, but tests yesterday it did not make a huge difference.

The Rad is the thermochill PA120.2, i made sure i flushed it before i using, was a fair amount of excess flux in there.
