Possible Watercooling build

Thread Starter
Hey guys,
I recently updated my system, and am now looking to update my cooling as well.
I have been contemplating a pre-fabbed kit such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835128015
orhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108075
Im not looking for anything extreme, but I have always wanted to get a water cooled setup. I want something easy, hastle free and of course effective.

feel free to make suggestions on either of those kits, or another one in that price range. TIA

Brenden

I just installed the gigabyte one 2 days ago, its amazing. My old p4 (non stock cooling) was running at like 50*C idle, sometimes more. This keeps my e6600 at 29*C idle overclocked.

Are you going to just cool the CPU? That kit would be OK for a really mild OC...The good thing about it is its all high quality parts and easy to upgrade...The first thing I would do to it is get a 240 or 360 rad for it...The pump can handle it fine...If you stick a fan on it in push-pull it would cool better...Use shrouds also they will help some...

lol the gigabyte kit, have you been reading guru3d's review

Definitely go with the Swiftech kit, I believe (and hope) that is what ira is referring to. It would be perfect for a CPU only setup and has some potential to be upgraded.

I opt not to go with a pre fabbed kit and enjoy the experience of creating your own kit
