lol in linux when i listen to music its like i can set volume levels past what it is made for so it starts cracking and my soundcard is a onboard AC97 (Nforce4)
the distro i liked best was the last one i tried and that is OpenSUSE it realy dus rox and has cooler desktop gfx then vista

also OpenSUSE has the best Graphics drivers on the market they work together with nvidia etc i realy get near windows fps on games like Counter - Strike source, on other distro's like Fedora (not core anymore) 5 or Ubuntu my frames are 1/2 of those on XP

A driver is a driver. They all come from the same place. What changes is the way it's packaged or re-packaged, and sometimes the kernel that's being used in a particular OS.
