When I said price wasn't a problem I was refering to the price difference between the two drives I was willing to pay the extra $30 if the performance was greater, for a boot drive that is. Thanks anyway

I have one of those seagate drives, and they are great performers. I got a burst speed of 254.4 mb/s with hdtach.
