Replacing BIOS chip

I just ordered a new bios chip... and the instruction say to "simply remove the current bios chip with your bios extracter."

What is this 'extracter' and where do i find it (if i have one)?

If I shouldn't already have one...where do I get one?

they come in computer repair kits if i recall correctly

i dont se why it woult work, just make sure you put the new chip back in correctly

actually... bending at the end that small is really hard

and my pin just went flying into my case somewhere... I think im gonna have to buy an extracter >_<

any1 know where i can find one?

the paperclip dosent need to be bent put it into one corner and pry a little then switch corners use the corners that are flat. its a plcc chip right?

alright, i got the paperclips to work w/ some plyers. All systems GO!

WinXP installer running now
