i just realized something after reading some articles.....coretemp shows my TJunction at 100C .... it stupposed to be 85C .... and articles are saying that my temps are really 15C higher than they really are....

Speedfan is reporting my temps as 27C, 23, 21, 20 .... these are all 15C lower than my coretemp readings.....so then problem solved right??

Btw, the AC in my room is set for 24C

question guys, about how long should it take for water temps to rise?

When i run 2 orthos to max out all 4 cores....as soon as I hit start on both my temps rise 10 c within 1 second......

Edit: btw im currently at 1.3v @ 3200mhz, stable but my temps jack up from 42C to 55C in 1 second running 100% load and max out at about 59C

my friend has a q6600 (b3) and when he runs 2 instances of orthos it runs both on the same 2 cores, dunno if that's an issue for you. But.... That's a very fast heat up! What is your rad order? The fuzion should be AFTER the radiator to have the coolest water. And did you move your fans to pull?

That's because he's supposed to assign each instance to a pair of cores in the task manager.

Open orthos. Select affinity to core 0 and 1 in task manager.

Open another Orthos, do the same for 2 and 3.

Start both instances of orthos.

well from reading a bunch of stuff, there really is no difference in the loop structure...but anyway mine goes Pump -> Rad -> CPU

also, i didn't move my fans to pull because i researched that its really not gunna make much of a diff, maybe 1-2C if im lucky....

it does seem like a fast heatup....i really dont get this at all, its so discouraging

both are one of those minor things that (and you can ask ira) contribute 1-3C drops for both, just a suggestion. I'm really not sure what's wrong, maybe AS5 just isnt ready yet, might want to pm ira-k or someone in the WC forum.
