Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI Experience?

Anyone have any experience with this board? It's relatively cheap but i've seen some good reviews - I intend to equip it with a Q6600, 2GB of PC2-5300 and a Palit 8800GTS - possibly expanding to an SLI in the future.

I'm mostly looking to know what the overall OC-ing performance of the board is - I currently have an ASRock 775Twins-HDTV which is pretty nasty in the ways of voltage changes, which limits me greatly in how far I can push the components.

Overclocking on this board is extremely easy! It was my first time to overclock, and I had no trouble at all. It will go as far as you want it to basically. The north bridge is stable all the way up to 1.45V when I was overclocking. I didn't leave it there though, because I wasn't comfortable pumping that much voltage through the chip.

The only thing I didn't like is the Abit EQ. I just think it is dumb.

I had been interested in this board for a while there, and was going to buy it but later decided I didn't need sli. Either way, from my research, it appears to be quote, "a pretty damn good board".

I'm just thinking.

Would I really want a board with the word "FATAL" anywhere in its name!?

jk

I've heard great things..

but no experience with them myself.

Abit is a good board company, thats for sure.

I don't have SLI or CrossFire... It is still an excellent board.
