Hey thanks for the replys.

Well Iv started from scratch by clear comos and change settings to:
CPU FSB: 1450
and vcore voltage to 1.48v
and just left mem at 666

the pc did boot up! yay but if i go up to 1500 fsb or down to 1400 fsb pc will not boot? plus at 1450 fsb it did stop responding in windows. This is really confusing me, any ideas?
thanks alot.

yea I think 2.8 is my limit for some reason. I wonder what is causing this. Aslo if I run at 2.8 the pc in general doesnt seem to run any faster than at standard settings. I think this time im going to just settle for normal settings. My old A8N-sli deluxe & amd 3700 was much faster than this set up once overclocked, I had that running at 1.7. Although my new setup doesnt slow down while running alot of tasks I suppose this is because of duel core.

1500mhz and 1400mhz...but what memory divider? Lowering the FSB is also lowering the RAM speed..probably to an unstable level. Going higher is just doing the same. Your RAM doesnt sound like it can OC very well. Try another .5v to the RAM for some extra stability...then you might have to loosen the timings for it to run at the higher speed.

I read the title and I thought you had some serious problem because you put 2.8MHz instead of 2.8GHz.
