MeshX Mod

Thread Starter
I just ordered the other day a silver AC Ryan meshX panel to replace my perspex window on my case (because its cracked) and seeing as I have a black case I wanted to get the black version but they didnt have any so im going to spray it instead, and to personalise it a bit more i'm planning on putting a stencil on there but im not exactly sure what of. What do you guys think.

should be an easy mod if you can get the stencil right.
i played around with making them from cardboard, but you need a pretty decent cutting tool to make the cuts with. so i would invest in some exaco knifes

I just finished it this arvo, I decided to keep it silver as it contrasts well with the black. So it doesn't have a design on it right now, I might put one on at a later stage. I'll post some pictures on Wednesday as our internet has been capped to 56kbps for overuse.

Thanks for the comments and rep, I like the x530s but I've wanted to upgrade to the z-5550's, I dont think my parents would be too fond of that though.

As a extention to this, ive been thinking about adding a perspex window onto a part of it to at least show part of the guts, and also I'm probably going to add two 90mm fans.

well i totally botched that up today, i had a 92mm fan which i was planning on putting on the window so i did it today, and being the stupid idot i am i didnt think and put the fan too high up on the window, so now it doesnt fit on because the fan hits the bar that runs along the top of the case (as you can just see in the pics). So im thinking of either

A. flipping the mesh so the fan is on the bottom (probs easiest)
or
B. Starting a whole new mod and getting on of these http://www.pccasegear.com.au/prod5585.htm and cutting a design of some sort into the left panel and putting the mesh there and have a cathode to provide a nice glow to it.

What do you think??

I also found my dads jigsaw (old as it is, it still works, might be a bit wonky though) so I could probably do some better cutting.
