Recommend an overclock

Thread Starter
A couple of weeks ago I completed my first overclock of the rig in my signature.

My CPU is at: 3.01GHZ
My Memory is at: 4-4-4-12 400Mhz

I know my system could do a lot more, but, you know how it is on your first overclock. Now I'm a little smarter and a little bolder.

What do you think should be the next good overclock?

For 3.2Ghz on your E6600 ust raise FSB to 356, and CPU vCore to 1.425. Be sure to adjust your CPU:RAM ration accodingly if necessary too.

Nope, 1.425v to the CPU is perfectly fine as most Core 2's default to 1.38v anyway. It's only when you reach 1.5v that temperatures start to shoot up. I'm currently running 1.55v through my E6600 so that 3.6Ghz is able to remain stable for 24/7 useage.
