Tsunami Dream Mods

Thread Starter
Does anyone have any experience in modding this type of case? I'm looking for a couple easy to do (or very hard yet awesomly cool) ways to mod the case and personalize it. I'm looking into painting the whole of the inside silver metal parts with a clear coat of uv reactive red paint. Following some of the circutry on the motherboard I got (The 680i from eVGA) and popping all uv reactive stuff into my case. Blood red watercooling, red IDE cables, red SATA, red heatwrap, and basicly ALOT of red. Would green look good for my SATA cables? I'm probably rambling on but I want to make sure this thing looks awesome. It's the first build in a while to get me excited. First watercooling experience, so I think I'm going to do alright.

Don't know about red and green unless you had a lot more green to go with the cables, but red and black look awesome. Sounds like an interesting mod so far, never seen anyone paint the entire inside of their case in UV paint. Post some pics when you get that done!

I have a TS Dream - I'd be interested to see what you get out of this! The furthest I've considered going with it is adding a few more LEDs to the front panel. I've stuck with the stock Blue for mine.

I'll be posting pics, don't worry. That's why I'm asking craploads of questions cause other people have info on the parts that I want and I honestly know nothing about them othert than they look cool. How hard do you think it would be to swap out the on/off button with a fight pilot toggle?

Not so difficult. The case is pretty nicely built in that you can open the front panel - so no need to saw through it. The hole is also quite big - so it should fit in okay. However - I have a slightly larger than normal 5.25" drive in my case, and that causes the front door to not close fully - it'll still lock shut without too much of an issue, it just doesn't sit fully closed.

Yea. My resovoir goes into one of the bays and I hope they've made it big enough that the front meets flush with all my other devices because I want people to see the liquid blood inside.

Nah. I've opted to use a Kandalf case instead. It's bigger.
