im on dvi, its a 1280x1024

Just test mine on my monitor 19" 1280x1024 that way and it didn't work either. Tried changing the settings to 480p and 4:3 before I hooked it to that one and no go.

So im guessing I cant use the cables I 1st specified as it wouldnt accept the digital signal right ?

Hey man. Thanks. However I already know about this...its a different product but does the same thing. I was looking for a simpler cheaper solution really.

Well I had a HDMI>DVI cable hooked up to my 1280x1024 monitor and it didn't work. No analog was involved. However it works on my 1680x1050 widescreen monitor. I can continue to try it, or if I find a RGB(Component)>VGA adapter for cheap I can try that too.

Anything you can come up with would be great mate. I would like to avoid having to buy a transcoder!
